Why is Black Economic Empowerment important?
"Black entrepreneurs and the Black Community is a vital piece of our local, regional, and national economy and of our social fabric. Our community must do everything possible to ensure Black Entrepreneurs receive the tools and resources necessary to be successful in starting and sustaining new businesses."
-Bryan Woodhouse, Madison College
The Center for Entrepreneurship at Madison College is focused on assisting in the creation of new businesses, retention of businesses, and on providing tools for businesses to improve planning and achieve growth. The center is also focused on providing resources to underserved populations such as women and minority entrepreneurs.
