UW-Madison for Black Economic Empowerment

What would a community of ResourceFULL and Thriving Black Businesses look like?
"I believe a community of ResourceFULL and Thriving Black Businesses would like an open space to grow and learn. I believe that there are hundreds of years of experience and knowledge that could be crowdsourced to better serve the community. I also believe that this information should be actively passed down to the youth so they can learn the value of ownership and the pride in ingenuity."
How do strong Black businesses benefit our community?
"It provides and open honest space which gives innovators the permission and support to dream."
We encourage young people to look past the possible and reach for the impossible. We offer specialized programs including the Business Emerging Leaders Program which encourages young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams and fulfil their business aspirations.
UW-Madison Precollege and Youth Programs shares their resources with attendees at the ResourceFULL Black Businesses event April 12th.
